What are the common problems of wellhead devices?

During the use of wellhead devices, a series of common problems may be encountered, which may affect the normal production of oil wells. The following are some common wellhead device problems and their possible causes:
Wellhead oil tank blockage: This is usually caused by a lot of oil and impurities in the oil tank. Oil and impurities will accumulate at the inlet of the oil tank, causing inlet blockage. Oil wellhead device manufacturers usually need to close the inlet valve of the oil tank to deal with such problems, and then clean the oil and impurities in the oil tank.
Wellhead water injection equipment failure: Water injection equipment mainly includes water injection wells, pipelines and valves. Failures may manifest as valve closure, pipeline blockage and other problems, which will affect the normal water injection production of oil wells. To solve such problems, it is necessary to check the working status of the water injection equipment and inspect and repair valves, pipelines, etc.
Wellhead oil pipe burst: Long-term use may cause the oil pipe to age and corrode, and then the oil pipe bursts. Once the oil pipe bursts, it is necessary to stop production immediately, cut off the connection between the oil well and the wellhead, and replace the new oil pipe.
Valve failure: Possible valve failures include leakage between the valve body and the valve cover, leakage of the sealing ring between the valve cover and the valve stem, etc. These failures are usually caused by loose bolts or aging of the sealing ring due to vibration and oxidation. Oil wellhead equipment manufacturers need to tighten bolts or replace sealing rings to deal with these problems.
Equipment sealing problem: If some parts of the wellhead device are not well sealed or the gasket is damaged, it is easy to cause wellhead leakage. In addition, long-term high-pressure water injection may cause serious corrosion of the equipment, and the sealing components will lose their function, resulting in leakage.
Leakage problem: The threaded part of the equipment is damaged during long-term use or maintenance, which may cause high-pressure liquid in the well to seep or leak out. This will not only pollute the environment, but also affect the normal production of the oil well.
Equipment damage: The equipment or components of the wellhead device may be damaged, such as equipment failure caused by collision or knocking, or equipment damage caused by improper maintenance or violation of operating procedures.
Installation and maintenance problems: If there are problems with the wellhead device during installation, or if daily maintenance is not in place, it may also cause equipment failure.
In order to prevent and solve these problems, the wellhead equipment needs to be regularly inspected and maintained to ensure that it is in good working condition. At the same time, the operators of the Christmas tree manufacturer need to strictly follow the operating procedures to avoid equipment damage or failure due to improper operation. In addition, aging and severely damaged equipment should be replaced in time to ensure the normal production of the oil well.
